Abstract:
The value of the global renewable energy market is growing at a rapid pace as the uptake of technologies continues to increase. As a direct consequence, regions are actively encouraging companies to invest in renewable energy in order to benefit from the prosperity that success brings to the area. Using knowledge gained from the NPP SMALLEST and NPP MicrE projects, this paper analyses the influencing factors on renewable energy companies and their relationships. By developing a closer understanding of these associations, this paper provides a basis for further economic research.
