Abstract:
The main objectives of this study were to examine critically the availability and quality of economic statistics for a sub-Saharan African countries relevant, in particular, for research; to assess the research reports by AERC researchers as examples of usage; and to develop a programme for ensuring improved data series on a continuing basis.
