Fitting Equilibrium Search Models to Labour Market Data

Abstract: Specification and extimation of a burdett-mortensen type equilibrium search model is considered. The estimation problem is nonstandard. An estimation strategy asymptotically equivalent to maximum likelihood is proposed and applied.
