G. Laurent and K. Charilaos

Working Papers from LIRHE - Universite des sciences sociales Toulouse

Abstract: Depending on the nature of the environmental protection policy put into effect by the authorities, the companies in the regulated sector can opt for different solutions in order to fight against the pollution they produce and in this way induce three different types of evolution for the environmental sector. It is therefore advisable to analyze the economic behavior of companies who must deal with environmental policy in order to grasp the consequences on labor demand in the regulated sector and in the environmental sector.
