Abstract:
The objective of this study entails to identify the determinants of demand for and wages of high- and low-skilled labour in the Netherlands. For this purpose, firstly a model for demand for and wages of high- and low-skilled labour is derived. Subsequently, this model is estiamted for annual data for the Dutch market sector covering the 1971-93 time-span and for three sectors in it.
