Hybridising Taby Search with Optimisation Techniques for Irregular Stock-Cutting

J.A. Bennell and K.A. Dowsland

Working Papers from University of Southampton - Department of Accounting and Management Science

The implementation in this paper adopts a hybrid tabu search approach that incorporates two very different optimisation routines which utilise alternative neighborhoods to address the described problems.
