Abstract:
The objective of this paper is to analyze the conditions needed to achieve sustainable private sector growth in the Visegrad countries. The analyzes focuses on (i) the "enabling" environment (legal and regulatory framework, institutional capacity); (ii) privatization of state enterprises; and (iii) private sector development (new companies, privatized companies).
