Abstract: Agriculture is the human activity that affects the largest proportion of the earth's surface, including its freshwater resources. As the world's population continues to grow, finding ways of increasing agricultural production without destroying the many benefits provided by biodiversity will be a major challenge.This paper addresses this challenge.
