Abstract: This research focuses on the gap between jobs required, and jobs found by unemployed persons, as shown in the "Sortants de l'ANPE" survey. Professional mobility of the formerly unemployed who found a job is very intense, only 25% among them keep the same profession. The present paper analyses both upward and downward mobility, depending on variables which are connected to the job found. Mobility is often identified to constraints, including job quality problems and poor working conditions.
