Abstract: The example of an outage for the maintenance of a nuclear power plant considered as a project of a complex time construction enables to analyse the time factor through its multiple facets and to draw up a time matrix for such kind of project. Different aspects of time uncovered this way suggest that more attention should be paid to maintenance projects by concentrating on time components and their meaning that generally exist in any kind of project.
