Les réseaux de relations: Quelles perspectives pour l’économie du marché du travail ?

Post-Print from HAL
Abstract:
This paper surveys the theoretical and empirical literature about the interaction between the labor market and the social networks. We use the theoretical literature to rationalize the ambiguity of the empirical findings. Especially, we point out that different kind of networks or social links have different effects, especially on the allocation of workers between occupations and wages. To illustratethis survey, we offer descriptive statistics using french data from the Enquête Emploi.
