Abstract:
Seeking to yield contingency perspective in questioning social and cognitive dimensions of coordination, this paper analyzes the way people "do" coordination when they daily act within volatile environment. It develops an extreme case study concerning Close Air Support missions in Afghanistan, examining coordination between aircrews and special operation forces on the ground.
