Abstract: High hopes are linked to Internet's growth, dealing as much with increased culture and knowledge accessibility than with users participation to the building of a collective knowledge. Nevertheless, this technological potential shouldn't occult how these uses are relying on social dispositions and skills learnt during our socialization. Creativity and new learnings will occur only if the individuals own these dispositions and skills. This paper is giving results of first studies about these ones, in the case of social network sites. As a first step, it is distinguishing these sites from others dealing with Web 2.0.
