Abstract: This article relates to the coherence of the choices of entry with the generic strategic orientations of companies. Our thesis is that far from being independent, these two dimensions of the strategy are complementary to explain the organisational performance of the firms. The study is undertaken on a sample of 542 companies of the French industry of consumer goods.
