Abstract: This presentation aims at proposing a frame of analysis for the development of a tool of management of the sustainable development in the SME context. In the first part, the main approaches to the questions bound to the social responsibility of the company will be tackled. In a second part, a review of the documentation relative to the sustainable development in the SME context will highlight the contributions and the limits of the works in the domain. Then, a presentation of the standard ISO 26000 and the guide SD 21000 will follow. Finally, in the last part, are presented the data collected with 43 managers and who concern, in other, a list of the priority stakes adapted to the SME.
