Abstract: This paper first examines how contemporary management philosophies give rise to the practices that have created scandals and business failures. The second section depicts the current role of management education in perpetuating the situation. Then the final section of the paper asks whether it is possible for management education to reverse its role to play a part in creating a more honourable business environment.
