Abstract:
Interfirm linkages have become an important field of research in strategie management. This article aims to compare the contributions and limits of four theoretical frameworks : transaction cost economics, evolutionary theory, industrial economics, and the resource dependence model. The objective is to contribute to a better understanding of interfirm linkages.
