Abstract: In order to become consumers, children have to collect little by little some pieces of information concerning the object of the exchange (items, brands...), the place where the exchange take place (shops) and the knowhow process about the purchase and the price fixation. Among the various ways available for children to gather the useful knowledge linked with prices, we will show how the barter operates as a source of learning process.
