Abstract: The recent revision of the White Paper of transport in 2006 supports the co-modality for the sustainable transport, that is to say " the efficient use - either remotely or combined - of various ways of transportation " (CCE, on 2006). The mastery of information which is in the heart of the co-modality development is made possible thanks to new management systems. At least this is the bet of intelligent freight that encourages the application of new technologies to infrastructure and materials. In fact, logistic and transport services offer has grown, nowadays they involve more and more operations that have an "informative" side. However, their use by the firms within their logistic strategies depends on a palette of factors, such as: - The firm's constraints related to the micro-economic optimization in terms of costs and time; - The imposed constraints for the middle-economic level trough the relations with the other actors of the productive system (in particular the customers). Hence, there is a variety of logistic and transport strategies that will need different services. Moreover, the choices in favour of durability may be very different and mobilize specific controlling levers. Consequently, the influence of transport intelligent systems will be very changing
