Abstract:
The analysis of both the economic and legal aspects of contractual incompleteness and uncertainty of individual behaviour is of interest to management science. The notion of incompleteness of a work contract does not have the same meaning in economics or in law. In economics, it signifies the importance of the power behind the management of the employer, whereas in legal rulings it shows the importance of other normative sources. The concept of uncertainty is likewise the object of special attention within the two spheres : the firm as well as the law seeks to manage uncertainty by using and supervising the work relation.
