Abstract: Cette contribution établit un parallèle entre le développement exceptionnel de la ville de Montpellier et de sa persistance quantitative et qualitative, même d'amplification, et des effets géométriques du dynamisme et de la stabilité, qui émanent de l'architecture et de l'urbanisme du nouveau pilote et du quartier emblématique d'Antigone, en particulier la "Place du Nombre d'Or".
