Abstract:
Insufficiently addressed, even at the level of vacant academic work, the question of the impact of CSR practices on the development today deserves to be explored. In this article, we seek to understand if the test of the UN MDGs, CSR can be for African countries an effective lever and a historic opportunity to accelerate the achievement of the MDGs at time when the countries indeed seek ways to accelerate their implementation. By adopting a qualitative approach by inductive multiple case studies as part of a descriptive perspective, the first results of our work show that CSR practices can be an effective lever and a historic opportunity to accelerate the achievement of the MDGs these African countries. The article provides a first support and reflection on the potentially positive impact of CSR practices on development.
