Abstract:
The aim of this paper is to explore the concept of multi-project management (MPM) in multinational companies (MNC) and organizational forms involved. An exploratory study in three MNC (BNP Paribas, Silliker, Volvo Group) allows us to propose a framework of MPM. In addition, we describe a new form of MPM observed in the three MNC studied, called the project management office (PMO). This leads us to rethink the MPM coordination mechanisms in the particular context of FMN.
