Abstract:
The legal aspects of intellectual property are extremely developed and lot has been written on it. The research is nevertheless lacking on the subject of how to manage IP in an operational way. The article proposes a scoring model that allows the ranking of a company's product portfolio so as to what should be protected or not. It also highlights some general defense strategies under budget constraints.
