Abstract:
The article describes the multilateral agreement on implementing sanitary and phytosanitary measures – SPS-agreement – one of the 12 multilateral agreements on the international trade. The articles points out the structure of the multilateral agreement, objectives and scope of the sanitary and phytosanitary measures, their consistency with international instruments, transparency principle of SPS-agreement, risk assessment and etc.
