Abstract:
This article handles risks of the vertical specialization from the example of the French ornamental outdoor plant chain. It aims at highlighting the hierarchical dependence of choices (of heritage, strategic, of profitability) in the various scales of territory impacted by the productive specialization. In the case of rival purposes of the impacted decision-making levels, it tries to bring to the foreground a hierarchical priority, by drawing the attention on the potential risks of upper level (at the level of the patrimonial and strategic choices). It make proposals od anticipation and collective management of these risks.
