Abstract:
In this paper, we consider the consequences of introducingBt maize (resistant to corn stalk borer) into European crop systems. Indeed, Bt maize is the only commercial GM crop grown in the EU. Most of this production is in Spain, where 76,000 hectares were grown in 2009 .
