Abstract: Between war and implicit arrangement, the compromise creates a special kind of social relations. He designs a space and a time when the actor who commits acceptshimself as belonging to a plural world, involved in an historywhich exceeds him, neither alone or omnipotent, nor subjected or powerless. It is therefore important, beyond the description of exchange and negotiation process, to emphasize what characterizes him deeper : an identity reconfiguration work, and a device of joint orientation of a common future between opposite partners.
