Abstract:
After a presentation of the situation of nodal points in logistic chains, the paper specifies, as regards hazards control, an operational typology of hazards which can disrupt the defined organizations. Then, it tries to have a better view of what can be "logistic information" and its management methods. After that, the paper deals with the following questions : what can be the position of nodal points in the mechanism of piloting floods? and, what strategy can they develop from logistic information management? Nodal points which do have a strategic technical position in chains organization, also have the new vocation of being "informational" centres for the whole partners who intervene in the chains which pass through them. The stakes in relation with logistic information management at nodal points are, from one hand, the capacity of nodal points to win and keep traffics, guaranteing their proper logistic quality, from the other hand, the use of those nodal points that can be done by chains oganizers and transport operators in order to guarantee the logistic efficiency of the chains they organize or in which they intervene.
