Abstract:
Like the Maghreb societies, Algerian society is multilingual. However, in favor of a division of labor, companies are more unilingual at the formal level. Many empirical observations show an unbalanced division of labor between languages sociolinguistic presence (Arabic dialect, Tamazight, French and classical Arabic). Amid acute socio-political struggles between social groups, this division sociolinguistic some problems: 1. exclusion of certain categories of young people in the formal economic field. 2. A gap between leaders and managers and employees in companies. On this last point, secondary data from the survey of Mercury et al (1997) showed a gap between the expectations of Algerian employees -. In terms of communication, training and working procedures - and current managerial practices. In addition, the review of areas of expertise and legitimacy of executives in Algeria according to French / Arabic formal axis shows that no elite unilinguiste can provide alone the social sense, especially in the world of work. Hence the need for collaboration, inevitably conflictual but multilinguistic between frameworks to better communicate, educate and train employees.
