Abstract:
The evolution of the European institutional framework governing waste management raises questions about the influence of this frame on organizational practices and behavior. This evolution is being tested in field of waste, particularly in end-of life vehicles sector in France and Belgium. Relying on qualitative method and using primary and secondary data, the research aims to show how far and how a normative and coercive institutional framework could influence the collective logic underlying socially responsible behavior.
