Abstract: In France, the 2015 summer season of music festivals was marked by a new practice: the virtual payment called cashless. In events organisations with a large logistics dimension, this article examines the actual and the potential impacts of cashless on flow management in cultural events. To reply to this question, the research uses a prospective methodology and highlights how the information flow of cashless may improve the capacities of the event to manage its physicals flows.
