Abstract:
The development of shale gas and oil in the United States is a major event in the energy sphere, but also in the dynamics of globalization and geopolitics in the coming decades. This evolution is an alert for Europeans as regards their energy policy, as well as their industrial policy. It strengthens, for Europe, the obligation (and risks) of an energy transition and, in particular, the energy efficiency improvements.
