Abstract:
As early as 1911, Maurice Potron conceived and analyzed an input-output model, established an existence result based on the Perron-Frobenius theorem and stated a duality result. We analyze Potron's economic model. The publication of a recently discovered letter to Ragnar Frisch testifies of Potron's endeavour to let his model known by economists.
