Abstract:
[The considerable increase in air transport in France since the 1950s is the result of a turbulent history, punctuated in particular by the liberalization of air transport, and then the low-cost airlines. But the results are very diversified according to the airports, as shown by the examination of the statistical data. Those of the Dom, as well as the companies serving them, have known many vicissitudes. The article also analyzes the competition of the TGV, and the explanatory factors of the very varied results of the European airports.]
