Abstract:
Abstract The research aims to show the effects of competence analysis on low levels of skills and out of work recipients, in terms of self-awareness and proactivity. It refers to the framwork of transformational learning through the concepts of self-focused attention (Lemoine 1994), reflective practice (Schön, 1993) and competence analysis helped by a counsellor (Aubret, 1990). It is conducted in partnership with 8 competence analysis centres (CIBC). The data are collected by questionnaires, before and after intervention. The results confirm the effects on self-knowledge but not on proactivity, the latter showing two factors with different effects. Some structural consequencies are discussed.
