Abstract: The purpose of this article is to discuss a strategic planning methodology, the Situational Strategic Planning (PES), with reference to the use of this in a concrete case - the management of the Dean of Extension and Culture of the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT) between the months from April to June 2015. in this perspective, it presents some considerations regarding the methodology, terms of content and structure, and makes a discussion about its implementation and the products it generated in applications of Pro- rectory.
