Abstract: Far from being just a market for Western firms or a vast operation of dumping for ripe technologies that are losing wind financially, "technological China" - the advanced part of the Chinese industry's ecosystem - has a "constructed" comparative advantage in terms of technology and technogovernance. In order to assess this ecosystem's current and future resilience, we need to understand how it has been patiently built in line with a coherent vision "from mines to technological prescripts".
