Abstract:
The article discusses the status of narrative and narratology in information and communication sciences and conversely. It puts the notion of narrative to the test of its functions and status in the construction and circulation of well-known figures in the public sphere. By examining research in practice, the article sets the temptation of institutionalization aside to posit that pollination by and in various disciplines is a relevant way to foster the quality of research in the field of narratology.
