Abstract:
This paper shows that implementing a foresight approach to management is instrumental while designing a pro-active strategy in a roller-coaster business environment. To be successful, the approach to strategic foresight requires the involvement of all the categories of company actors. The paper draws on a six year longitudinal research process carried out in a high tech SME which enriched its strategic processes through a shared and cascading foresight approach to management that was both decentralized and orchestrated.
