Abstract:
As a transit area but also a place to live, the railway station offers urban residents purchasing opportunities and an increasing variety of services. Tree types of services are provided: service directly related to the transportation, complementary services linked to waiting or transit, non linked to transport services attractive to travellers and non travellers. Services may be classical or innovative. The railway station represents a new space of production of overall services, underpinned by different dimensions of proximity. It requires a partnership approach in order to bring together numerous commercial and institutional players.
