Abstract:
The neoclassical approach considers labor as a "negative" act, an effort as a source of disutility. We consider that this assumption is very simplistic. It is not a fair representation of reality and it does not provide a relevant framework in order to understand the notion of creativity in the act of work in economics (Cates, 1979 ; Rubenson and Runco, 1992 ; Pannells and Claxton, 2008 ; Menger, 2009 ; Rasulzada and Dackert, 2009 ), while others disciplines analyze this topic with some greed, such as psychology (Lubart, 2003 ), and more recently management science.
