Abstract:
For today's CEOs some decisions are especially difficult to make... This is the case for Mrs. Spanner, CEO of France Pistons, a French company manufacturing pistons, mainly for the automotive industry. The fact is that she has just been asked by her company's Group to select four engineers from her existing team to be sent to China for a period of two years. Torn between the feeling of pride at being recognized as the most efficient team within the Group, and the fact that the final decision might have a huge impact on the team itself and on individuals in the team, Mrs. Spanner decides to ask for help from a consulting agency in order to manage this very delicate request and make the best possible decision.
