Abstract: Performance indicators for industrial maintenance differ from those used for facility management. Based on the concept of measurement cost and recent survey articles, the organizational contexts, including service triads, servitization, as well as outcome-based contracts, are analysed. Differences are attributed to customer orientation, precision of initial status documentation and relative importance of subjective evaluations of performance.
