Abstract: Working with an analysis grid based on the notion of experience, this contribution aims to highlight how Christmas consolidates learning skills of young consumers. In this context, the list of presents sent to Santa Claus reflect the knowledge and expertise of children in the field of consumption. The list can be understood as a stage in an experiential process whereby information received by children all year long is structured and then reformulated in a list that clearly expresses their decisions.
