Abstract:
In the space of the last twenty years, management has undergone a major upheaval: the time of knowledge, based on prospective and retrospective approaches, has been replaced by that of action, supported by so-called reactive and proactive methods. This article looks at how this change has taken place, and questions the wisdom of simply swapping one approach for another.
