Abstract: This contribution proposes an articulation between ergonomics and philosophy, through the ergology prism, in order to question the impact of the analysis of human labor on the disciplinary anchorages of workers in the field of work. By retracing elements of the historical construction of ergonomics and by our research experiments, we will show that the real work and the stakes inherent in situations tend to displace the disciplinary boundaries. This shift appears to be necessary in order to meet the demands of transforming work situations and urges the work analyst towards an indisciplinarity rooted in the paradigm of activity, based on a double epistemological and social dimension.
