Abstract:
The generator has a collecting unit mounted in a hull (2) of a ship (1) to recover the mechanical energy of waves. The collecting unit co-operates with an actuating unit that transforms the mechanical energy into electrical energy and promotes stability of the ship. The collecting unit comprises two collecting chambers (4, 4') located at the bottom of the hull in direct contact with water. Pistons (8, 8') move back and forth inside the chambers to accentuate water circulation in branches (5-1, 5-2) of a connecting line (5). The actuating unit has a turbine (7) co-operating with an alternator.
