Abstract: NGOs have grown considerably around the world. They had specific objectives for their creation, including the will to overcome the social inadequacies of the market economy, to fight against wars, to defend the ecological and environmental values, to initiate movements intended to improve the inter-regional, religious or societal relations. They are often born of private initiatives. Today, their analysis is a little more difficult to present, as their importance and influence are uneven, as volunteering is less and less present within them. The big associations do not always look like peaceful and unassuming NGOs, considering the importance of their action on national and international life. Some NGOs are very close to governments, others secretly represent private interests Finally, NGOs do not represent the voice of peoples, but that of a globalizing or sectorial perception of human values to defend.
