Abstract: Our research consisted in improving the understanding of the regulations of industrial firms in the event of dysfunctions in their production systems. In accordance with Forrester's system dynamics paradigm, we described non-linear feedback systems which were observed in thirty such companies. Generic models were implemented from simplified and aggregated models which represent different production system types. The formalization of cybernetic loops and the designing of operating systems both contributed in making a cinematic production system description. This paper also presents the essential dynamic simulation results of the model of assembly production systems.
